Policy cover two-wheelers, private cars, and commercial vehicles against theft, physical damage from accidents, and natural or man-made calamities. They even cover liabilities arising out of damages/injuries caused to a third party. 

 

Third-party Liability Insurance: A third-party liability policy covers any third party liability that you face in case of accidents involving your vehicle. The Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 mandates every vehicle to have a third-party liability insurance policy. 

 

Comprehensive Insurance: Covers third-party damages and own damages caused to your vehicle, it pays for damages incurred due to unforeseen natural calamities such as cyclone, earthquake, flood, etc. It also safeguards the insured vehicle from theft, accident, incursion, burglary, fire, etc.
